This panel explores what happens when science based warnings are distorted, attacked, or ignored – and the human costs of disinformation around extreme weather events. Anchored by the feature documentary The Weatherman, the program uses film-driven storytelling to show how attacks on science and climate disinformation make communities less safe and more vulnerable – driving real human and economic costs when extreme weather strikes.

Evening beverages and light bites will be served.
