This two-part session brings together leaders from CAA Community and Impact, New America, GLAAD, and the Doris Duke Foundation Creators Program to explore how impact storytelling can be built directly into the creative process across film, television, and digital media.
The first conversation highlights CAA’s Full Story Initiative, offering practical tools for writers, producers, and executives to craft stronger narratives through collaboration with community organizations, advocates, and researchers. The second focuses on digital storytellers who partner with nonprofits to translate research and on-the-ground insights into compelling cultural narratives that reach large audiences.
Together, the sessions offer a blueprint for turning real-world knowledge into stories that resonate and mobilize audiences.
