With composer Eduardo Arenas’s pulsing score, the panel explores Chicano identity’s sonic soul. We delve into the rhythms of story and music from pachuco jazz to corrido as a bridge to reclaiming heritage. NEZZA joins this discussion, as a singer whose bold Spanish national anthem performance challenged narratives and power through song.
